Samus from Metroid Prime

This drawing is based on the Metroid Prime box art. Sadly, it was a lot more fun to draw this picture than it was to actually play the game. The switch to a first-person view was just too jarring for me; I'd much rather be able to see my surroundings than to see things from a more realistic, yet restricting perspective. Er, anyway... after drawing the picture, I scanned it into my PC and went nuts with the gouraud shading to give it a more realistic look.
